Hunters are very picky about the pets they choose. If you''ve you get your hands on our hunters guide we give you a full run-down of the best and not as a good choice when it comes to the actual pet abilities. Now some people may very well, like animals that are not as effective statistically, and that''s fine. You should be what you want, but if you look at the numbers, there are just some animals that seem genuinely in certain areas.
Most hunters use a cat.Cats are one of only two animals that received a 10% bonus to damage. Cats are also easy to eat and learn, much of the best pet skills. Really nothing you can''t go wrong with a cat, especially if you are a Beast Mastery specialization hunters. A cat will do more harm than any other pet you may have – with one exception.
We want to put your attention on the Ravager. Before the expansion, The Burning Crusade, cats ruled DPS, but now they have a serious competitor. Ravagers cool and have thePotential to cause more damage than cats. Perhaps the only drawback to a Ravager instead of a cat is that they don''t get the skill game, but this can be a great thing for you – especially on a PvE server.
Why are Ravagers at the top of the DPS gang? You get to use the really wicked ability Gore. Gore is an instant cast ability that uses 15 Focus and works much like claw (which we will bite on – check out our hunter-guide) for details. Even if Gore is similarly basedDamage to the claw, it has a 50% chance to DOUBLE damage. If you are the average, it means that Gore will do 125 damage in the same time, doing a claw 100 will. If you have 50% chance at double damage with Beast Mastery hunter skills like frenzy for the critical hit stackable, it can seriously high.
Ravagers a little more armor than cats, but less wellness. They eat only meat and raw meat, and can learn Bite, Cower, Growl, Dash, and Gore. Gore is a great skillOnly used by boars and Saracens. Unfortunately for players of the horde ravager to tame a real challenge before level 62 especially on PvP servers. The other problem with Gore is that there are no known mobs from which one can learn gore 5 or 6 So with Gore you''re 4 pieces until you get on the plane 48 ends blasted. Gore also 3 is only learned from the named mob Bellygrub in Redridge, and he can handle a load on the stage 24. Overall, Gore is the best offensive pet abilityhave, but for the Horde characters, you might not want to consider a ravager until you get to outlands. Also, be for the alliance, for levels 20-40, your main pet attack skill is off the pace. Promoting Endurance through pet training is also more expensive, as far as skill points as strengthening armor. So we normally give pets with more stamina a better stats than pets with higher armor.
All this is said – it could be argued that the Saracens have the abilityabout much more harm than any other pet in the game. If you can have a little patience and wait until a can of outlands, checking to see if you go Beast Master. To save focus and use the really wicked DPS skill, gore, teach this guy Gore, Growl and Dash. Gore is instant cast with no cooldown, so if he gets a few double damage hits in a row, it can really be a murderer. We''re not sure whether the task is worth the extra dps raid and extra points spent on stamina, but on PvE servers, it can be aWinner.
